Rike Flämig: concept, director, choreographer and dancer

[ENG]
“Disruptions” deals with the difficulties of movement in a real conflict situation. A dancer starts developing a choreography in front of the wall between Israel and Palestine, but the adverse circumstances prevent its completion.

The wall that was suposed to function as the background for a dance video pushed itself to the centerpoint of a a site specific documentary film.

Felipe Frozza is a Brazilian filmmaker based in Berlin. He creates documentary and fictional works for film and stage productions. Working in the border between documentary and fiction he draws from reality as a starting point and pushes the narratives to a point of surreality and absurdity. Currently he studies camera for film in Berlin and he is graduated in International Relations in Sao Paulo. He showed his works at Festivals in Europe, South America and in the Middle East.
Rike Flämig is a post communist performer and choreographer based in Berlin. Using the body as a resistant sign she moves between performance art and contemporary dance.
She develops documentary theatre productions and site specific works for public space, theatre and film. She studied Performance Art in Hildesheim and Contemporary Dance in Amsterdam and showed her works in Germany, Eastern Europe and in the Middle East.
